My Baby is ONE!!!!!

Lily is one!!! I cannot believe how fast this year has gone by. Lee said earlier I hope the next 17 don't go by this fast. It's scary to think that they will continue to go by faster. This has been the best year. We are so blessed by her sweet little personality and love her SOOO much. She has been so much fun and it's hard to remember what our life was like before her.


Lilys Stats:

23 lb 10 oz

2 ft 5.25 inches

head: 46 cm

We went to the doctor today and it was a little different than the past. She is definitely remembering everything now. From the second we sat her on the scale till we left she pretty much fussed. She did get shots:( so I don't blame her. I think the shots that she got today were the worst so far. Dr. Smith said everything looks great. Oh, she did have a lot of fluid on her left ear so more antibiotics. Hopefully when the weather warms up, they will clear up. She is still sleeping great so I had no idea.

Lily likes:

pink and paci- she is slowly getting more and more attached to these

food- she is eating breakfast, lunch and dinner. For breakfast she is eating a banana, oatmeal and some cheerios... lunch and dinner always vary but she loves lunch meat, cheese, chicken, any kind of casserole, quesadilla, etc. She is the best eater. She is officially off the bottle!!!!

Sadie- now that we are in the backhouse she gets so excited when we open the door and sadie is right there

playing and discovering new things all the time

playing peek a book, patti cake and reading

when she gives kisses she sticks her tongue out and licks you

she can wave bye bye, clap, blow a kiss, say mama, dada

dislikes:

this list is continuing to grow as she gets older, she is not shy about letting us know something she does not like

to get her diaper changed.. there is too much going on to stop for that

Milestones:

she is cruising around the furniture but is very catious and will not let go of anything

it is amazing to watch her learn something new all the time
