18 months

I know I have missed a few months but I thought I am just going to pick up here. I may try to go back and update on our summer. It has been crazy busy around here the last few months. We have traveled, moved to Birmingham, had loads of company and got PREGNANT! We are expecting #2 in feb. and we are so excited! First let me update on Lily this month.

What you are up to?

You are wearing a size 4 diaper, size 24 month or 2t clothes and size 5 shoe. You are getting so tall and you have only one roll on your sweet little thigh:( They are so cute on you.

You are still taking one good afternoon nap and go to bed around 8 and wake up between 730 and 8. The construction next door sometimes wakes you up earlier:(

You eat a really good breakfast and lunch but dinner is hit or miss. If it were up to you, you would be eating hot dogs and mac cheese every night. You have started to even ask for a hot dog for breakfast.

Your vocabulary is very large. You say momma, daddy, you can say everyone in our families name, sadie, mink (that is what you call your blanket), eat, banana, baba, bath, shoes, socks, up please, thank you, and you say much more just too many to list. You are putting two words together and sometimes three. For the most part we can communicate very well. Others may not know what your saying but I do!

You have been giving kisses for a while but just started giving hugs. You wrap your little arms around our neck so tightly and it is the sweetest thing.

You play by yourself pretty well. You love to play with your babydolls, push them around in the stroller, feed them with your bottle or a spoon. You have learned how to work your puzzles and build with your blocks.

You are definitely your daddys child. You have a checklist before we leave the house. You will bring me the keys, my sunglasses and we have to have the diaper bag. Several times we were just going to check the mail and you had a meltdown bc we were forgetting the bag. It's kind of funny. I'm a little forgetful sometimes so maybe that is a good thing!

We have had so many visitors this past month. It started with CC and Doc, then Stephanie, Lorelei and Bo, then Dottie and the boys as they were passing through to go to the mountains, then hammy! This weekend Melissa and Stewart are coming.
